Today has been an adventure so far... do i say that a lot?? i at least think it a lot.... I'm in Italy, i guess it comes with the territory.

it's only 1:15 pm though, haha. I have class in 15 min, so i'll be quick.

Today in Fam and gender we had yet another site visit (though our last til after fall break, kinda stinks), at some palace in town... i think alberti's... but she kept talking about strozzi... anyway, it was the stuff that was in it that was cool. but standing for 2.5 hours kinda sucked... no really sucked. i stood like a flamingo most of the class. i miss taking dance classes at PAC.

anywho, i saw a girl in rainbootshoes. yeah. i say that because they stopped at the ankle, and were adorable!!! she told me the store and i went and got them immediately 12 euros wasnt bad either... most ive seen have been 38. they're blue and super cute and im glad theyre small because i can take them home! the adventure was getting, there i got super lost, went under some railraod tracks through these huge confusing tunnels covered in graffiti that had no signs or anything... but it was cool. then i went under some other railroad tracks to get to school... walking to school sucks. its straight up hill... once the play is over i want to start walking here mroe though.... it is good exercise... im generally coming too early in the morning and am tired or going back at home when its dark and unsafe to walk home by myself.

there was a bug in my sandwich today....thanks Italy. .... that's what i get for eating something other than coffee. hooooraaayyyyy

i got my midterm paper topics for fam and gender!!! this is exciting because mideterm week i have two papers and an exam... but since i got this one early... i can start working now, and hopefully lighten my load. im excited, too, the paper topics seem slightly interesting compared to the first two... though not nearly as challenging as duke paper topics. i know exactly how to answer them pre research... and duke paper topics are set up so that you can never answer the question until youve done a ton a research... i wonder why that is.

it's cloudy today.. i hope it rains. i hate rain. but i want to wear my shoes!!!

also... i got a response from anthro in US, saying theyre transferring my email to the anthro people in england. i havent heard back from royal caribbean yet. the anthro one involved management and visual design.... i know nothing about visual design... but i love the design of anthro! haha.

still havent gotten your article yet, dad. i think it's lost forever.

and no terrorist attacks here in florence yet. i only live immediately to the right of one of the most important relics in Florence, the David.

I also made an excel sheet of all the potential cruises... it's pretty legit. I told my friend priya (yeah i said it, my friend, a girl who lives next to me) about it and she laughed at me.

aight, im gonna go cram in some lovely literature entitled Mein Kampf... ya know... just some light reading. ;)
