Allora...

I've actually been home for six hours. Since then I've been being mostly lazy...not...even...moving... after 11 days of intense high speeds, not moving seems bizarre... and also makes me want to sleep. Plus, the idea of blogging about the past 11 days seems scary, final, intimidating, and sad. So instead I watched an episode of grey's anatomy, talked to kyle for a minute, checked out the cruise situation, planned classes for Spring 2011 (almost there), and just messed around on the internet. A luxury after paying by the minute in various hostels.

Today, in itself, was also exhausting, resulting in my lethargic behavior. We were supposed to have a train from Geneva to Milan and then a train from Milan to Florence. Instead we got, problems with one train, took another to some random location that I can't remember but it went something like Donderossola , waited for an hour, got on the right train to Milan. Obviously missed our connection. Took the next train to Florence without seat assignments, pissed off a whole bunch of Italians for sitting in their seats when we were told Cars 6-11 were open seating. Arrive 1.5 hours late to Florence where it was pouring and trudged through the rain for our fifteen minute walk back to our apartments... Loaded down with a duffel on our backs, our satchels, and a H&M bag stuffed with souvenirs.

BLEH.

Nevertheless, after this fall break, I feel like a totally new person. I'm refreshed. I'm exhausted. I don't know what to think of the past week because I don't think I've processed all of it. The amazing churches, the unique museums, the incredible food, the beautiful countries. What I experienced and what I learned was more than I thought I would, to be honest. I've been blown away. And it's weird to think that 9 am tomorrow morning I'll be sitting in class again. The past 11 days seemed like my life for a bit, and nothing else really existed, but the next fun thing we were doing, or the next city, or the next train, or the next hostel.

To attempt to blog about this is going to be intense. However, after almost losing 1200 pictures on my camera, only to find out that I have them, but can't look at them or put them on my computer until Christmas break, for now, blogging will be the only thing I have to remember. and Catherine. Today she spent 20 minutes reminding me what our room in the hostel in Vienna looked like, while I spent part of dinner last night describing to her a restaurant we went to in Munich. 6 cities, 11 days, countless adventures....things are blurry.

For now, or rather this blog, I'm going to Sparknote the entire trip, and it won't make any sense to you. Using this, I will then over the next I don't really know how long, I'll detail each city, along with some random stories, thoughts, and ideas about the countries we visited.
